Today the developers of EverQuest II released a special gift patch and wish Happy Holidays to every one. With this special patch came some changes to the default interface. As always you can view a compare of the changes here.
Highlights:- Quest Journal - Collection Quests can now be sorted and the window will no longer reset to the top of the page when you add a new item.
- Roomier Harvesting Depots - hold up to 150 unique harvestables.
- Desert of Flames Drop Rates - Master level spells in DoF has been slightly increased.
- Player Housing - House window will now display the address of the home below the name and in the persona window.
- Spell Effect Icons - Max player / detrimental spell effect icons displayed have been increased from 30 to 45.

| Frostfell celebrations under way |

Frostfell, the celebration of kinship and giving, has once again arrived in Norrath spanning from Dec. 11, 2008, to Jan. 5, 2009. Players are invited to enjoy the Frostfell Wonderland Village through the Magic Closets in Qeynos Harbor, West Freeport, Haven, Kelethin, Neriak and Gorowyn. Players can also gather presents to craft wondrous new Frostfell goodies to add to their collections. The festivities also include a daily present from everyone's favorite Frostfell Gigglegibber, Santa Glug!

| ZAM teams up with Child's Play to raise money for sick children |

The Child's Play Foundation has partnered with ZAM and gamerDNA to help children this holiday season. We are looking for donations to help the people in need.
You can help by donating money directly or by completing a short quiz. Upon the completion of the quiz, you get a signature. This signature can be used to spread the word of this wonderful charity. (See my sig!!)

| TSO & GU50 now live! |

 The Shadow Odyssey and GU50 is now live. The EverQuest II servers came up around 11am CST with no major problems to report. So far looks like a nice smooth launch!
EQ2MAP has been updated to work with the new expansion and GU50 changes but requires that you use the new updated patcher. You can download the new EQ2MAP patcher here. Once we get some POI's for the new areas in our database we will compile a manual install version for those that have trouble with our updater.
I have posted a compare of the changes found on the live servers with the expansion and GU50 for your interface fixing pleasure.
