It is no longer ProfitUI Reborn. Now it is ProfitUI Catalyst. This updater still works, but requires Java 6 update 13. Anything newer breaks it.

I haven't been able to run my updater for the past month. I get the Everquest2.exe not found error message and when I try to reassign the file path it doesn't save. I reverted to Java 6 version 13 and that didn't fix it. I just installed todays update and still no good. I have tried launching from the http://updater.pala.de site and still no good. Anything else I can do to fix this?

Running Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit...

I also have UAC disabled...

I've also been having my maintained window bug and become unscrollable as well as click-to-cures not working and only restarting the game fixes it temporarily. Hopefully this is fixable.

Using Settings -> Updater -> Reset all settings - found this finally on the forum and it fixed the problem

Just make sure you ignore any customized files and reselect any variants you use

I am experiencing some problems after GU53 and updating Catalyst. All I can see is EQ2 crashing immediately after trying to load my selected character, both running the login and the exe file. The character pick screen loads all right. Oh and about uisettings.xmls, there is no such file so I cannot delete it

Auto Updater will not run under the latest Java update. If you get that "Cannot run application" error, you need to roll back java.

The UI itself is being maintained, but I don't think the autoupdater is; so unless someone wants to try and get it to function under the latest Java update, this is the only fix I've found.

Edit to add: Just did some testing. It works in 6.13 but not 6.14 so maximum update would be update 13.

Well for some stupid reason I can not download the profit reborn ui updater at all. I have Java up to date. It begins to run the intstal program then stops and drops a file on my destop that is filled with computer codes that make no sense to me. It does not tell me what is preventing the download it jsut craps out a bunch of computer lingo.

Why can I nolonger download Propfit Reborn?

Not sure why or if it's even updating anything, but mine is still working fine. When I open it, the updater scans and tells me that my files are up to date.



Does anyone know how the updater works with Profit Catalyst or how to switch?

Updater doesn't work anymore... Says "Application Error" in the blue bar and "Unable to launch the application" as a message.
It also shows a red octagon with a white exclamation mark.

When I try to run the Profit UI Updater a message keeps coming up saying something along the lines of "Cant find Everquest2.exe,please set your EverquestII directory in "Settings,file path". I go to settings then file path but im stuck there i cant seem to find what im suppose to do from there,any advice?

Try this website I don't know where it's found in the forums but my auto updater went down and I have to use this web page every time to see if I can get it to update.

well i'm alittle confused, i thought someone had taken over this UI and was planning on keeping it updated, since no replies have been made, and its been nearly a week since my post, i'm going to assume this UI is no longer being updated.
