Download Fine, but no maps!

I can patch, download and everything seems to go fine, it downloads to the correct directory and the eq2.ini file points to the same directory, but alas, no maps in game itself.

A bit lost at this stage, any suggestions?

I had a simular issues and I fixed mine but unistalling the program going into the EQ files in the UI directory removing map files (ran en eq2 full scan to be safe) then reinstalled eq2 map updater. all my issues are fixed.
