Default Tabbed Bags

Would it be possible to make the bags capable of stacking and using tabs?

Interesting idea. You would need to be able to address each bag individually, and I do not think it has been found out yet how that would be possible (if at all).

I would think it would have to be possible, they have the other things such as your attributes and your skills set in a tab like environment, however I'm no expert, I don't know xml and I didn't have a large enough monitor until 20 minutes ago to even see the whole ui editor without scrolling around, hopefully someone can figure it out though, it would make bag management so much easier

If you look at your uisettings.ini, you can see names for individual bags (Bag_clone_0_0, Bag_clone_1_0, etc.). The problem is that in game each bag will always give you its address as root._HUD.Bag, i.e. this is always the address of the bag that events are happening too. I do not know how the cloning code of the UI engine works, i.e. whether at another location in the XML tree there really is a Bag_clone_0_0 or whether this is handled internally by the engine.

The same applies to hotbars.

Chat Windows use clones too I believe.. These windows allow for tabs to be created and windows to be combined by dragging.. So, yes, there is some sort of code to make tabs is in the engine.. There's no way for a UI Author to enable this with hotbars, and bags.

Probably, because the code is "incomplete" for combining those types of widows as of yet.

/feedback "Please give us the ability to combine bags and hotbars into tabbed windows"
