What I did was downloaded the free version of ProjectForum's Wiki server. It can be found at
http://www.projectforum.com/pf/free.html
Then, since I'm using the browser with bookmarks from Othesus (
http://www.eq2interface.com/download...rks--GU32.html), I added a line for a bookmark like this:
<Data GoFlag="1" Text="Personal Notes Blog" href="http://localhost:3455/1/26"></Data>
Now, anytime I want to make a note of something in game, I can post it as a wiki entry to myself. I also can use the standard "cut and paste" commands to take text from in game and put it straight into the wiki. And, since it is all time stamped, I can keep a basic track of what happened and when for future records.
It does require a service running on port 3455. So far, this hasn't bumped into EQ2. If there is any fear that others might get into your wiki, just close that port to incoming traffic on your firewall/router.
