Default Problem running EQmap Updater

Could anyone help with my problem at all please? Every time I try and run the updater I end up with this message comming up

I have installed the .NET Framework version 2 on my computer.

I'm getting the same thing. The only difference is the last line:

at WindowsApplication7.Form1.DownloadExtras()The underlying connection was closed: The remote name could not be resolved.

First thing to check is that Eq2Map can access the internet. Make sure all files are allowed through the firewalls and that your connection settings in IE are correct (including proxy settings).

Short story is, something somewhere is blocking / killing the connection to the update server so the updater cannot download any new files it needs.
