Default Tells me .NET needs to be installed and it already is.

I have been trying to get my maps to work for days now. I recently reformatted my comp and put Windows XP on it and I DID install the .NET framework v2.0 that is needed from this site actually. And when I click on my auto updater it says I STILL need .NET Framework v.20 and its alread installed!!!!

Same issue, but it is referring to a slightly older NET v2.0 being needed. So, this could be interesting to fix.

Just for the record, I have .NET 2.0 on my non-64bit XP Home machine (although, it DOES have an AMD Opteron processor in it), and I have no problems with EQ2Map.

In theory there should be no problems as 2.0 is backwards compatible,
however these people are having issues so the next logical step is to install the version of .NET the application was compiled with and see if that helps.

/sigh

Been there done that, but will try again from ground one.
I eventually ended up with latest release of Net 2.0 when none others worked.

Gonna uninstall and try again.

Try running the app there to see if .NET is working at all.
