Lightbulb Resource Tracking

Is it possible to show where and what resources are in a zone? It would be nice to see where such things as misty stone or sandwashed rock etc. are located on a map. There was a similar mod on WOW.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Thats a bummer, with WOW and EQ2 being almost twins, I would have thought it doable. Well maybe someone will figure it out.

Thanks

The UI systems the two games use are totally opposite of each other in the scripting manner. Wow gives you APIs ( I believe ) where you can access just about all the game's data and a real scripting language, where EQII only gives us limited access to the game's data and a very limited bare bones scripting language.

Basically what you see on the default UI is the only info we can give you. We can just twist it around and present it to you in a better way ( in the others eyes ) then SOE did.

Aye, EQ2 and WoW interfaces are hardly alike.

EQ2 greatly restricts how much information you are given, and in doing so preserves some aspects of the game
