Well really the way the system is intended to work is by manipulating the proper bit on the DynamicDataFilter, not by removing the dynamic data tag altogether, though setting Filter to 0000 is probably technically the same thing. Its just a matter of design
However with that said, it doesn't appear to be working like it used to. I'm 95% positive that in the past, setting the filter to 0000 would make it always visible (sometimes you would have to turn it on with ALT-T first but then after that you were golden), but now it isn't working for me. The window still goes away. So either i'm remembering incorrectly (certainly possible!) or they changed something and perhaps made it hardcoded now
