Ok I see Crypt of Betrayal Map on http://maps.eq2interface.com/ but from what I'm reading it's not done yet. So is it safe to deduce that is why I don't see the Map Ingame from the EQ2MAP Updater?

Something like 8 new maps have DDS files and approximate zonerects and have been added to the choices at the website. The zonerects of a few of them need serious fine-tuning before they'd be acceptable in-game though. Basically, you'll see it really soon in-game, and the only file patched will be eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml and a corresponding icon page XML because you'll have the DDS already. Think of it as pre-downloading the next EQ2MAP expansion, and the website is the preview!

I'm pretty good with zonerects, I'll see which of the zones I can stop by over the next few days and get things working like they should.

testing the zonerect should be easier now as you wont have to submit pois to test the zonerect, you can just use the thing i added tonight that will show a star on the map at the location that is typed in.

hrm..yess....now give me a quick way to change the zonerect on the website.

mebbe i can substitute going in and out of the game with a few known /locs and the ability to match it up. i dunno worth a shot

would have to have a smaller icon than the start too...like a dot. for admins

When I saw CoB on the site and not in game. But I understand that we need more firm Zonerects for that zone. I'll keep plugging away at new Locs and fixing bad ones

Yeah I was gonna work on it back when I posted this, but I finished up in that laggy zone, and don't really feel like going back unless I have to.

its done now drumstix. All we need is to perfect the zonerect. Ive put zonerects on my back burner for now. I want to push out a buncha maps first.
