Default UI Install

I am using Window 7. I have attempted downloading ProfitUI several times and every time it asked me to set the file path. I have tried to do so but no matter what path I chose it says EverquestII.exe path not found. I cannot even find it manually myself but I know it's there because I can click the link on my desktop, sign in and play. I have checked in both the 32 bit and 64 bit files but have still come up empty handed. Does anyone have any ideas or faced the same issues and resolved it? I'd appreciate the help.

It might be in programdata which is hidden from normal view. The easiest way to change this is to click the windows button, select computer click organize in the top left, click Folder and searcch options from the dropdown, click the view tab, then click the radio button for show hidden files and folders, and uncheck the checkbox for hide protected operating system files.

You will then be able to see all files and folders on your computer. Click the window button on your taskbar again and type everquest2.exe in the field at the bottom. The result will display the location of your everquest2 directory.

Select that folder in the profitui updater.

I actually had the same problem, make sure you can see hidden files, and you will see a new folder in your C: called ProgramData, that's where your fiels are, unhide them and hide hidden again, and it should solve your problem

EQ2 Extended, current install does not use EverQUest2.exe. There's 'launchpad.exe or eq2x.exe but no Everquest2.exe. Therefore autoinstaller complains and no UI gets installed.

You can try and create a dummy Everquest2.exe (just make a blank text file or something and then rename it to that). Everquest2.exe is the main game executable and should always be present, unless for some reason they renamed it in EQ2X to eq2x.exe.
