Hotbars disappearing, loot window not appearing

I have 2 problems, on one account/character Randomly a hotbar will disappear and make a double of itself over another hotbar. If i close the hotbar and reopen, it's ok, but annoying none the less.

for teh second problem, which is more of a bigger deal.. on another account/character they never have the loot window come up. They never roll for loot, so it's seeming like the Auto decline option is stuck. However if I check out this option, it's not checked. Is there a way to reset my ui so that it might resolve these issues?

The hotbar issue is usually caused by a corruption of the settings file. In your eq2 directory you will find a file named servername_charactername_eq2_uisettings.xml. Delete that file. Launch eq2. Load the settings from annother one of your characters when the window pops up on login.

The no loot window problem might go away after doing that if it is a positioning issue. Other things that can cause you to not see the window besides auto decline being checked is having it set to auto loot. Right click your player name...choose group options. Check your loot settings.
