New launcher not allowing profit

I have uninstalled and reinstalled profit since DOV and can't access it thru the new launcher so I went back to use the launcher I was using before DOV and this is the error I get:
there was a problem confirming the size of the file C:\ProgramData\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II\lp_temp\UI\Default\eq2ui_global_marketplace.xml.
I was getting this error after I downloaded DOV expansion so SOE gave me the new launcher which will not allow me to use EQ2 map updater or Profit any longer, so I want to go back to using the older one but I need to fix that error .
Orrr can you tell me how to get EQ2 map updater and profit to work with the new launcher? Helppp! I am a profit and eq2 map addicted person.

I apologize if this does not fix your issue but I just bought the game and through the launcher got the same issue you described but it was unrelated to installing profitui.
I figured I would tell you what I did anyway to resolve it in case it helps you. What I had to do was go into the Lp_temp>UI>Default, from there I used winrar to unzip the file that the launcher was reporting as incorrect. Once I then cut and pasted the unzipped file to the actual UI>Default directory it worked after I repeated that same process for one other file that failed after the first one. Same procedure just find the file, unzip it and put it manually in the correct directory and then the launcher will go past it. Then the sony launch pad will accept it. I had to do this on two separate computers. Good luck.

Ugh, it is no longer working. There is now a delta.exe file that can not be extracted. So I am at a loss right now. I guess I will just cancel both my accounts because I need my profit. It is hard to see in eq2 in the dark parts of the graphics, profit gave me that "eye" that turned up the light. Turning my graphics lighter does not do it in options in eq2, it does not go light enough. I find myself squinting to see, resulting in a blinding headache. Sighs, 7 yrs and I have to quit because of Sony's stupidity.

Cancelling accounts because of this might be a bit to much..

There are so many who does use Profit with the new patcher, so ofc it can work, its just about getting it to work properly..

While I have no idea what's wrong with the new launcher, it's not like the old launcher stopped working, you are free to keep using that one.

If 'new launcher' is referring to the streaming client you download from the website, that one is working fine for me.

Yes, its the new streaming launcher I am having problems with.

Thanks for noticing my post gm9, but unfortunately, I am getting error codes that necessitate I install files manually. Which was ok until I got to one I can't unzip "delta.exe" so,, I am ingame without my profit or eq2 maps, when I use the "new launcher".

I have spoken with "Joshua a SOE support tech" who tells me now that the new launcher DOES support profit and eq2 maps, a totally different story than I was told on the phone by tech support. However, whether it does or does not support it at this time is a moot point as neither are working for me ingame using the new launcher.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both eq2 maps and profit to make sure there are no corrupt files,, still a no go. So stuck I am (as yoda would say).

So, right now, I have went back to a launcher that is I think the 3rd before last launcher in order to be able to get in to play using profit, altho eq2 maps is still a no go.

Don't even bother yourself to try to find a solution, this is just me venting.

Did I say how sorry I am to have even bought this expansion? And worse yet the Collector's edition.

You are describing two separate issues. The delta.exe stuff is SOE's launcher throwing an error and I cannot help you with that. You not seeing ProfitUI and EQ2MAP is simply you having installed them in the wrong folder (or rather the new launcher having installed EQ2 into a new folder to which you now need to point the ProfitUI and EQ2MAP updaters).
