Vendor Window Filter/Search

With the quantity of items available at some merchants (especially the tradeskill vendors in the TS instance) it would be helpful to narrow the list through either filters or search features. Is there a way to add a search function or a filter function to these vendor screens?

For instance lets say you pull up to a weaponsmith and he sells 200+ weapons, a filter could allow you to filter out all the weapons your character can't use (by either red or because you don't have the skill for it).

Or you head to the tradeskill vendor and you are a lvl 23 alchemist; well you could narrow the fuels down to only tier 3 fuel, components and books.

Lastly, you know you are looking for something specific so you type in the first 4-6 letters and you jump to that section on the list.

I doubt any of these ideas are possible but I have seen no requests for such features yet therefore I post this request as an exploratory project for the excellent modders at this site. They seem to make a lot of impossibilities possible.
