i found code for a non-functional clock. Neat.

I've been thinking to myself "it really sucks to be bound by windows.. i just want to stick [this] [here]" well now i can:

yes, this is the 2 black bars. anything you put in this window will be part a non interactive backdrop. money, stats, name, level - no longer limited by windows. You cant click it, you cant move it, and if you dont like it or its in the way, stick something on top of it. Plus i dont have to butcher a window (see my eq2 start button) just to make something display all the time. I await the Doom mod where someone uses this to place a rectical in the middle of your screen or windows desktop-like mods for your black bars. in fact i think i'll try one.

also, i think I've figured out how to make any window a primary window. Meaning it will stay on when you log off or zone, and won't close when you mash escape. So no matter what the devs hard code (like equipment slots) i can still make it be front and center all the time, as long as the info feed is still there (ie no bank slots). so, inc inventory mod. This is going to be very cool.

That's really great! Hey, do you think you could whip me up a single square no-boundaries window with just the Ammo slot in it that is always open when I'm in-game? I really would like to have just that tossed onto my screen instead of my inventory always open to track things. Just a thought.
