Chat Window Won't Appear Untill I Press Enter or /

I've managed to accidentally make my chat window disappear when i log on, so i don't get any text whatsoever. I can hear people sending me tells, but i don't have any text. I have to press Enter, / , or R(eply) to get my chat back up, but then it doesn't show me anything that I've missed.

Got this from gm9's FAQ

• The chat entry is enabled by right-clicking the window, going to window settings, and setting frame and titlebar to "none" (this is the default setting if you load one of the default uisettings files provided with the UI).
  
• Users that decided to keep their uisettings from another UI or a ProfitUI version <3.2 may need to toggle the frame and titlebar setting to frame and back to none after updating.

That didn't seem to work. Still, when i log on, i have no chat window. I receive no incoming text until i press / or enter. I miss tells, i miss everything that usually appears in your chat window until i press / or enter, there is no way for me to see what tells/events i missed in chat from the time before i pressed / or enter

I had the same problem too quite a while ago. I think deleting my UI settings fixed it.

You set the "Frame and Titlebar" setting to "Frame", pressed ok, then set the "Frame and Titlebar" to "None" and pressed ok, camped out, then quit, then restarted the game and it still didn't work?
