Can't resize Chat window in Horizontal direction

I can find and click on the 'move' square, and I can move the chat window and resize it in the vertical direction, but I can't seem to get it to allow me to make it smaller (or larger for that matter) in the horizontal direction. I want to make room for the spinner on the hotbar stack, since I use a 'foreign' set of hotbars that autohide unless engaged, and the spinner sticks out

. If it can't be done, I could make the hotkeys smaller but I'm about at my vision limit now

hmmm maybe there's another window blocking the move or something, I'll keep trying and if I figure out what was happening I'll post it in case others have the same problem.

Perhaps you have a corrupt file somewhere? Either your uisettings.ini or whatever .xml file coincides with the chat window (little help here, gm9

)?

Unlikely. Maybe you tried grabbing it in the upper right corner. That won't work, because there is the [x] button. Lower right corner works best.
