I would likke to know if the eq2 maps can be used with the SOE default UI game use the far better eq 2 maps than the default please I hope so thank you all

Yes -- all that the official EQ2MAP updater will install is EQ2MAP, which modifies just the map window basically. All your other windows will not be changed and will pull from the latest version of the default UI.
