UI keeps reverting to default

everytime I exit out of the game the my UI keeps reseting back to the classic skin is there a way to make it stop doing this?

Do you have a eq2.ini file that is instructing the game to load it? Selecting A UI from the window that is accesses via the /laodui command should set what UI the game uses unless you have A: a eq2.ini file telling it to do other wise or B: Your eq2recents.ini is write protected.
