I want the Default Character window back.

I recently updated Profit and lost the default character window. I MUCH prefer the default character window over the current version of the Profit character window. Previously I just deleted the file below and was able to run Profit with the default character window. This no longer seems to be true. Is there another file I need to delete or modify now?

You delete that file. If that is not working you have multiple installations of eq2 or are screwing something up.

I appreciate your prompt reply and thank you for your hard work on this program.

However, not to be snarky, since I have done this successfully in the recent past, I don't think I messed anything up this time. I also don't think I have magically acquired a new installation of EQ2.

It appears that Profit is adding back the file in its own form each time I delete it and rerun EQ2. I have run a full system search for this file and deleted the only instance of it on my computer and it still repops.

Unless you rerun the Profit updater, Profit cannot add files to your computer. It is not possible. If you are running the profit updater put the file on ignore in the updater. There is a version of the profit window that looks alot like the default one. It is under variants and is listed as the large persona window variant. Every person who has an issue with a file being removed but still showing in there ui has had either a duplicate eq2 install or is running the updater without the file on ignore. I verified again this evening that if I delete the file from my profitui directory and launch eq2 that file reverts to default so they have not recently started caching ui elements somewhere.
