Default Hotbar mod for healers?

I'm currently using Dragowulf's spell timer mod and it works great, but what I was thinking would be even better for healers would be another mod put into the hotbar itself that tics down the number of reactive heals or heal points left on my ward (I'm a Templar). I don't need exact timers for my spells and I can get by using the ingame gradual shading thingy to eyeball how long I have before I can use the spell again. If the 'heals remaining' info is in the icon itself I don't have to look elsewhere to see if I can click a nuke button or I have to refresh the reactive/ward. Does anyone have such a mod?

Default This might help with what you want.

This is an excellent mod for healers and most other classes and works very well.

As far as I know theres no current mod that does this. As for whether its doable I'm not sure. Think the data isnt obtainable via the hotbar window.

It's doable, but yeah, I've not seen it. Hotbar buttons are rather small so it's hard to fit the extra info in, but the data is available in dynamic data, so it can be put in anywhere easily. What's not as simple is to write the long script to read all of the dynamic data and assign it to the specific buttons correctly based on spell name. I guess you'd also have to decide what hotbar to use as a base... default or what.

Othesus created almost the exact thing that I'm talking about except he modded the maintained spells window, which I still think is not as good as the hotbar as the icons are not only bigger but already display the spell availability / rough spell timer as well, so my eyes could travel to the same place for both pieces of information.

On the maintained window it is much easier to use the dynamic data that shows the time and ticks left for a spell as it is part of the data for that. To use it on the hotbar you would have to code it to dynamically check the names of the spells on each hotbar and compare them to each currently active spell from the maintained spell data and then if they match overlay the time and tick data. As eqAditu said it is probably possible but I would think it was very complicated to actually make happen.

Only problem with using the maintained window as the only location for this information is because it will only show a max number of effects.

I use dragowulf's spelltimer to watch ward amounts, debuff time left, etc... but with the amazing amount of procs which take up maintained window slots the window is almost constantly spammed out which prevents me from seeing information I'd like to see (like specific time left on certain spells and ward/reactive remaining amounts).

It's all you get however, the number was already increased by SOE from 30 to 45 but that is all there is, UI authors do not have access to more effect data, either.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Yeah I knew that, authors do what they can.

I can't say I would dump the maintained window/spell timer for a number on my hotbars (since Im not going to glue my eyes to my hotkeys while fighting, and I still want to see my recast) but I can understand what the OP meant/where they were coming from when they asked if a mod like this was doable.

Either way, just going to have to hope someone takes the time to write this mod or pray SOE raises the limit again (or gives the option of hiding procs from maintained).
