What is the message you are getting? Since anyone reading this has to guess at the actual problem, I'd guess that you need to reinstall your Java RTE. Go to http://java.com/en/ and install the latest version.

its very hard to point someone to how to fix something when we don't know the exact message you are getting. Garbage doesn't describe an error message and gives me a visual of junk all over the screen instead of an actual message.

Mostly the error about a security is that you aren't running the updater as adminstrator right click run as administrator. It can also be that you have not installed java for the machine you are on.

no error message just a bunch of pixel garbage in the warning-security window pop up that should show what is below with no way of clickint to allow it to run. I can't find where the screen shots are saved on my comptuer for some reason. and I have unistalled and reinstalled java and it still doesn't work.

That is a confirmation box. Check the check box and then hit run or cancel. You want to hit run its even described what to do on the startup page of the installer.

After launching a security message will pop up. The updater is not allowed to write to your hard disk without your permission hence you have to check the box giving it permission to write to your harddrive. If you do that and still have a problem then you need to run as adminstrator or disable the UAC

BTW what that says at the top is that the certificate has been verified. Although I don't speak that language
