Help deleting saved chat files/or text?

Within eq2 is the in game chat text saved somewhere in the eq2 /Sony file? or is there a way to delete the text from the chat box in game, a clearing of all text?

Friend is having a problem with someone scouring their chat box for ....friends any help on how to delete any of this stuff?

lol, tell your "friend" to delete the ..\Everquest II\logs\ folder and to type /log to turn chat logging off (if it's even on, otherwise type /log to turn it off again) and /log_input to turn input logging off (if it's on, otherwise repeat to turn off again).
