I'm crashing to char-select

I am running XP with Java 6. im having problems when logging in it gets to loading UI resources and It wont finish loading takes me back to charater select. This dont happen every time but it will after I change zones a couple of times or somtimes when I log on. I have reformated my PC because of SP3 and was having windows issues and couldnt DL java 6 which I though was the problem but its still happening.

I have read the forums here and read several things, A wealth of info here about EQ2. I am just not to PC savvy and if the info there and I missed it please forgive this thread. Any help would be much appericated Thank you and Merry Chirstma, Happy New Year to you all

I don't know why this is happening, it might be anything from network connection issues, server issues or client issues, but it is not a UI issue.

PS: You generally use the term "crash" when the client application encounters an unhandled error that causes it to terminate.
