Default Quick Macro Button Configurator

Ok, I really don't want to have to post this because I just know it's going to be something so obvious but, after having spent an entire morning scouring the boards for everything with the word "macro" in it, I am still at a loss as to how you access the macro ingame.

In other words, how do I see the macro I made? I had assumed it would be in the macro files section (default "O"), but no. I have checked that everything is set up correctly, etc. and that's not the problem. Nowhere can I find anything about this, not in the FAQ and not in the first 15 pages of the forums. Or is this only visible when I'm in a raid?

I know I'm going to feel so stupid but how do you access your macro ingame?

Hehe, good point, I guess I forgot to add the most basic point to the FAQ entry for the configurator. It is for the buttons on the group and raid windows, they appear if you mouse over them (above the cures on the default group window and on top of the health/power bars on raid window and group window variants).

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

I can't get mine to update. I open Excel and select the spell I want to add, the configure window pops up and I enter in all the info and click save. But, when I go into game and group up, my changes to the buttons aren't there.

Any ideas?

Either you selected the wrong EQ2 path (some people have several installations without them realizing it) or you were already in game when you edited the file and did not restart the client or you ran the ProfitUI updater afterwards and did not have _ProfitUI_QuickRaidButtons.txt on ignore, thus overwriting your changes again. Everything else should provide an error message (unless you are on Vista, things may be different there I assume).
