Default Fetish NF: can't move hotbars...

I just came back to EQ2 after a looooooooong break and was glad to find the best custom UI still being supported.

I am however having a very ODD issue. I can't move my hotbars from the default top center position. I have them unlocked and clickthrough is turned off. On the edges I get the up/down and left/right resize cursor, and I can resize the bars...but I cannot MOVE them.

This is a totally virgin install of EQ2 and Fetish. O_o

Found a likely solution a few pages page. Apparently you have to drag by the hotbar page spinner now. I know I didn't have to do that before, but whatever. If it works, it works. I'll try it when I'm home from my office tonight.

Yeah, thats a problem with _all_ hotbars now since SOE reworked the code on 'em. You can (in theory) drag the by deadspace between hotbuttons but in FN that deadspace is removed so you pretty much have to use the spinner.

I know, it's annoying. I wish they'd make it so you can drag by empty hotbuttons and by full hotbuttons so long as dragging buttons out is disabled, but... they haven't.

Don't you have to use the space in between the individual buttons on the hotbars to move them?

EDIT: I'm such a Dee-Dee-Dee!! I just reread your post above this one lordebon and saw you already talked about the deadspace between the buttons! I guess that will teach me to jump on the boards here and post comments/replies first thing in the morning before I have my morning coffee IV!

Yes, or the spinner (if its shown). But Fetish doesn't really have space inbetween the individual buttons -- thus you really need to use the spinner to grab the hotbar and move it.

Since SOE introduced the IconBank format no hotbar (regardless of the mod) has space between the buttons. All you can do is add "padding" in the hotbar options, but unless I remember wrong you still can't grab that space to move the hotbar.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
