Default UI Builder and Bag Pic?

Dear Abby,

So im all geared up to make my own UI mod and I wanted to tackle the issue with arranging storage bags close together. I've tried DLing some of the other Bag Mods and they are great except for the invisible dead space that overlaps other bags close to it, which drives my crazy when tring to move/stack items.

Well I get all confindent and think I can just make my own Bag Mod with a primary goal in mind: GET RID OF THAT DAMN DEAD SPACE!!

I read Phipps’s Guide and I have to say thanks for writing that. It cleared up a lot of starting confusion. Then i'm all jazzed to start editing the default bag, and im looking.....and looking....and once again looking for the graphic to reference title, frame, shape, yadayada, but ther is no graphic.

I made sure I was on the inventory tab in UI Builder and that all the other windows were moved outta the way, but still no bag graphic. So whats up with that. It makes it so you have to use the force to imagin how everything is gonna line up/change.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks,
Mentally Challenged

I agree; it's annoying. I believe it's "reserved space" for larger bags with more slots. I don't know why the window can't auto-size to the current bag without the dead space that's terribly annoying.

Funny enough, after playing around with UI Buiilder, I stumbled across how to turn on the graphic reference. There is a little eyeball toggle button at the bottom of the left window (across from the text "Object Properties"). Its kind of like the toggle in Photoshop for layers.

I hope that helps anyone who has had similar problems.

I'm almost done with my own Bag mod that has only a 2 pixel overlap (for moving) and will group nicely with other bag windows.

God! Insn't it great that now you can LOCK your bags into spots. Even the bank bags work the same way. Don't know if anyone noticed that.
Keeps you from accidentally dragging one out of place.
You lock them in place and they will always come up in the same spot.
