Using multi accounts

Hi folks

i recently got myself a second account and was excited to see the option to camp to another char on a different account in the logout screen

now, in order to have this working properly i think there have to be correct entrys in the campscreen
but list is empty, so the camping does not work ... just says i gave wrong accountname & pw etc.

how do i get this working?

i did some research here in the forums, found some account-managing mods, but htey seem to be outdated, at least installinstructions are not correct anymore (regarding eq2_loginscene.xml)..and overall, they may serve easier login on multiple accounts, but seem to have nothing to do with camping (which would save a whole lot of time, not having to shut down and reload eq2 each time)

some help would be greatly appreciated

1st you must not start EQ2 using the launcher.
2nd you must not activate the button to camp to an other account.

I do it all the time without trouble.

Big no on this one, if you do not check it, you will get exactly the message the OP was getting. You must check it (or, if you don't mind you char staying in the world for a moment, just click the skip to login screen button, that's much faster).

PS: The checkbox is only needed if clicking on a char from the list. To setup the list, see the FAQ.
