Bottom Bar feedback.

I love this UI. With the RoK expasion I had a feedback suggestion though. First off, I'm not sure how many play at 1740, but I know that my monitor is 1680. This is a fairly common monitor size as it seems to be the resolution for most 19-22" monitors. Would be awesome to have a botttom bar that was preset to this size. That said, I don't want to create more work for you.

The real feedback is that I was trying to modify the bottom bar data...but admittedly it is beyond my expertise and I am not sure how the various blocks on the bar are formatted and such. I was trying to add +CA damage. I was able to take the 1740 size bar, delete the Regen Section, which is basically not needed sine i can mouseover the upper left to get it and I don't care what my regen is in the heat of battle. I moved the restist left and tried realigning them then tried to resize it and the "Crits" section. Figure removing Regen and adding +Spell damage, +heal ammount and + CA damage would make it more usefull for most of the player base.

Now, are there any graphical XML editors that you would reccomend that I could use to do this myself?

Edit: Also, if you do decide to change the bottom bar info anytime, you could probably get rid of Atk: if you needed room. I am not sure that this value is nearly as important as it was in EQ1. Piercing, slashing, crushing are more important now, but not worth putting on the bottom bar.

Edit2: I was able to change the Atk directly to +CA: and then I somehow was able to play with the resists after deleting the regen stuff. It has enough space for me to add in a +spell damage, but that is beyond me right now.

The bottom bar is actually up for a revamp one of these days, I am going to make it subclass aware so for casters it shows +spell whereas for melee it shows +ca, etc.

In the meantime the only graphical editor that exists can be found in your EQ2 folder, it is called UIbuilder.

Make sure it can show Ranged Double Attack as well... I was just looking around for how to add that, but if you're going to improve it yourself, I won't try to deconstruct your work.

Any chance this revamp to this is coming soon? I run at 1680 as well and really dislike having to set max width each time I log on or switch toons.

Yeah, I kind of forgot about it though...because there was my inventory update as well as me making the gothic undead theme for profit.

I've been trying to PM you though and haven't got a reply regarding the bottom bar.

Sorry, PM got lost in the other clutter. Replied now. I know I also promised the coding of putting it all together. No chance before the weekend though unless I sleep through it. This week is absolute hell.

[edit: I have gone ahead and added the three +mods to bottom bar although I did not organize them into their own section]

I use 1740+ bottom bar and have removed the regen section since its duplicated and was going to add +heal, +CA, and +spell when I conducted a search on the forums. If nothing exists then I will complete my own mod but it will sure take me longer on the trial and error side to complete.

Just switched to Profit UI on GU44. Was using my own custom mods and really liked these three mods showing. As an Inquisitor, I switch between ranged spells and combat arts frequently all while healing so all three get balanced at least three times on most raids (trash mobs, named mobs, more trash, boss mobs, etc).
