Default tracker working?

hello,

is there a tracker working with profitui?
when I place a eq2ui_mainhud_tracker.xml into profitui's ui folder (where all the other eq2ui_mainhud_* files reside, nothing happens, I just tried 4 of the trackers found here....

If they work, they also work with ProfitUI.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

how could I verify if they are working, I tried the search "track" and than I choose the 4 with the highest download counters....like kosmo's, mortis, maddbomber and mook. they all offer such a file. but placing it in the UI/ProfitUI folder does show any result...no error and no working tracker window. any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Some suggestions;
  1. You used eq2ui_mainhud_tracking.xml for a the file name and not eq2ui_mainhud_tracker.xml as your post said? If you used eq2ui_mainhud_tracker.xml then it will not work because eq2ui_mainhud_tracking.xml is the correct file name.
  2. You did extract the files before putting them into the ProfitUI folder 1st correct? I also notice one of them had the tracking file inside a folder, so you would have to extract only the file not the folder/file combo on that one.
  3. After you have extracted the file, visually verify the file is in the ProfitUI folder by using windows explorer or what ever means you use to do such tasks.

ok...my fault...a little bit clearer...
the handling of archives, folders and similar things are no problem. ;-)

filename: eq2ui_mainhud_tracking.xml

location: c:\programme\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\ProfitUI\

but I have no (known) possibility to verify if the installed eq2ui_mainhud_tracking.xml is doing anything!?

I attached one of my last tries.

Well just start tracking and look if the tracking window looks any different from the default window.
