Default One button to cure any type of dot?

Hello everyone. This is my first time trying a different ui. A friend told me about how with fetish, you can have 1 button set up to cure any type of dot(trauma, elemental, noxious, arcane). I finally got the ui working, but haven't figured this part out yet. Can someone please explain how? Thanks in advance.

ok, but just so I understand how this works. Somehow it knows which type of dot is on me, and will only use a potion for THAT particular one?

Edit: hmm maybe I misundersttod. I thought it was ONE button that would cure any type of dot. Is that true? I figured out how to open the window, but it has 4 buttons.

The 'Click to Cure' ability/feature only works with spells. Potions cannot be utilized this way. In order to properly use this feature, you will need to edit the file referenced in that FAQ with the names of any of the curative spells you are able to cast. If you are a melee class, then this will be of no help to you.

Default Click to Cure

FYI: I find the simpliest method is to use a Group Window which has the 'click to cure' (using spells) built into it.

There are a number of them, on the Downloads->Group Window page.

This is the topic at hand, Faoj.

I believe the original poster is trying to find out how he can set it up so that he can have a 'universal cure' button instead of having four separate ones. And that, I believe, cannot be done.

Ah, but my point is this:

There are Group Window mods out there where ALL you do is click on the effect-icon in the Group Window and the appropriate spell is cast to cure the effect.

You do not have to use the window that pops up, containing the multiple buttons for each "class" of effect.

This does not work for yourself, of course, and so I use "standard" Fetish window with the multiple buttons. (Since it has been done for the Group Window, the same 'click to cure' might be add-ible to your personal bar - it has effect icons too - but I have not seen that done).

There are several Player windows that allow Click-to-Cure. Here are a couple:

Player 1

Player 2

Here's another Group Window with Click-to-Cure that doesn't need editing to use:

Group 1

FYI this feature first appeared in the Fetish set. Both the standard Fetish Player and Group windows allow clicking the debuff icon to cure that player. There's no need to click the buttons when curing yourself or ppl in your group.

The seperate window is provided as a way to ClickCure ppl not in your group. In this case you target the out-of-group player and click the appropriate debuff button.

A "Cure All" button is not viable for classes that have multiple cures. It would be relatively easy to create one button that attempts every cure. The problem is if your class has multiple cures, only the first cure abilities in the list that you posses would be cast.
