hotbar and backdrop not resizing properly?

I know i can just set the opacity to zero, but i just wonder why this little black area is showing under the hotbars? see screenshot.

I found this fix in one of the threads associated with an EQII Interface Author, but for the life of me I can not remember who!

Sigh.

This fix is not mine, and was provided by the Unknown Author.

In the file eq2ui_mainhud_hotkey.xml, you have to add a xml 'phrase' to two different lines.

The 'phrases' and lines are:
Line 2: OnShow="MinimumSize='0,0'"
Line 3: OnShow="Parent.MinimumSize='0,0'"


Here are what the two lines look like, after the fix is applied:

Okay thanks, i'll try that out, if anyone else know of anything else, feel free to say so, also if this is a bug, will it be fixed in later releases?

Got another question, its not related to the topic but anyway.
The Master Strike bar and the Stats bar keeps reopening each time i log on, even if i close them down before i log off, is this normal? is there a way to keep the from opening on each log on?


Edit: That fix, not sure how i can use that with fetish, since there is some differences in my file i see..

Yes that's normal. You can completely disable them by removing the includes for them from eq2ui_mainhud.xml

And as far as that hotkey workaround goes, yep was alrdy doing something like that with the hotkeyoptions window, just hadn't gotten around to applying the code directly to the hotkey window. Glad to see someone alrdy confirmed it works.

Add the OnShow code bits Faoj listed to the object of the same names as those in his sample code. The rest of the pramaters will be different but the names should be identicle.

I've attached a copy of it, with those two bits added in the right place (I think -- have to check in-game).
