Shutdown mod with Character Select

Is it possible to use the technique in the persona window that extracts the class and level of a Character and apply it to the tool tip for the Character button on the shutdown mods with Character select?

Might experiment with it but if someone knows that it can not work I wont bother

(not a programer... just not scared to try)

The class and level in the persona window are from dynamic data in the game. You can't get the class and level of any character other than the current one in that way.

I hope that answers your question. I may also be wrong, hopefully one of the UI gurus here will chime in too =)

That's right. But you could display the class to the window by manually adding it to the XML.

That I did. I notice this data is also available on the SOE web site for each character. If there was a way to save this info in a text file (perhaps some kind or batch file used to start the client) and then call that info in the shutdown script.
