Hiya; ..first just let me say that your EQ2maps is *excellent* and I am lost without it!

Yes, I read the FAQ, the troubleshooting thread, the old troubleshooting thread, re-downloaded v1.06, re-installed it, re-allowed my firewall to send/rx info using EQ2map_updater.exe both TCP/UDP in or out,deleted the EQ.ini, and as a last resort turned *off* my firewall completely.

I still get this everytime:

I use Trend P-cillin v.7 for my firewall/virus protection, I have another computer that EQ2maps works fine on, but it uses a different virus protection suite atm. Winxp home edition.
I don't have all the expansion packs for EQ2, thinkin that's not a problem if I can't zone into those areas anyway.

PcCillin. /shiver. I would go with something free and good, like Avast or AVG over that. Thats like one of the worst AVSs I've used.

Since you said that thought, try disabling it and then updating, since everything works fine on your other PC that doesn't have that software.
