I am using undead gothic ui, and would like to incorporate some new information in the journal menu's, but i am unable to figure it out, I am copying from a ms word doc file into the xml file, but it does not accept the formatting, i would rewrite the info but, its a huge document, any help would be apreciated, unofortunatley the information i would like to incorporate has to be secret.

My favorite way of getting rid of formatting from things like MSWord is to copy everything into a .txt file, save it, and then copy it back from the txt file: All you'll have is plain text, no formatting or anything wonky like that.

It seems like if you copy/paste from .txt to .xml then you do have to worry about the apostrophies and other symbols. However, for documents, it can be more useful to do an include instead. By using include it doesn't seem to care about the symbols that are included in the .txt file.

So do you cut/paste from the MSWord doc into a .txt file. Then in the interface you are working with setup the container and when you get to the spot where you are actually including the text, setup the text block but instead of typing text in the block your next statement would be the include.
