Thank you! Now it works like it should
I found out that there wasn't any eq2ui.xml in my eq2map folder and I must have missed that part with the _ProfitUI_Styles.xml.

I extended the timer to 40 minutes today. I'm not sure how long until Profit is due for a version upgrade, so feel free to download the timer mod seperately and overwrite to have expanded time options.

I just got one question:
Is there anyway to get the clock to show the earth time in 24h instead of 12h?

It will be a while until the next release. If you choose to download the timer mod separately, extract only eq2ui_mainhud_timer.xml from the archive, rename it to _ProfitUI_Timer.xml and then copy it to your ProfitUI directory!

Profit UI Uninstall or what
It seems that everytime there is a pastch or update no matter how small my PUI goes3/4 away and I am left with what looks like in my attached file.. I mean everytime.. whats the deal? Any Idea?

Not sure why every patch is reverting you to the default UI, unless some aspect of the UI is actually broken. My ProfitUI in any form hasn't outright broken on me since...DoF or something.
Check to make sure your "eq2.ini" file in your main EQ 2 directory still has this line in it:
cl_ui_skinname ProfitUI
If it doesn't, paste that line in, or re-download ProfitUI and use the included "eq2.ini" file, pasting over your existing one (and make sure your install folder is actually called "ProfitUI").
If ProfitUI still won't load, double check your installed files and their locations carefully to make sure everything is in the right place.

I'm pretty new to EQ2, but I already love Profit UI. Great work! I have one small problem... where the heck is the game menu button? The one you click to bring up the list of windows to open, options, etc. I can't find it!

The button is in a group just above the hotbars in the lower right. You can press F10 to show all your active windows and you should see it. Hope this helps.

When I go into a broker (either my room or one of the instances) I get a message saying "I have to upgrade UI mod or use default UI." or something to that effect. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I found it, thank you! It was hiding... eventually I moused over it by accident and it popped out at me
Great work on this UI. I have a little bit of feedback already that I'll share:
- I accidentally unlocked one of the target windows at the top at one point, and I couldn't find any way to (automatically) get it to go back where it was supposed to be. Is there some way to reload the layout that you pick by resolution when you first load the mod? I managed to get it looking right by dragging it carefully then re-locking it, but a position reset feature would be nice.
- There are way too many chat tabs by default. Obviously some personal preference is at work here, but I was much happier once I'd condensed them down to Chat, System, and Combat. Having to flip between Chat and Tells just to carry on a private conversation was especially annoying.
- I think the bag slots are a little too small. It's kind of tough to visually identify the icons. EQ's color palette already makes everything look kind of the same, so bigger icons wouldn't hurt. Is there some way I can tweak this?
- The miniature inventory window doesn't quite sit with me. How about combining the inventory with the Persona window as another tab, with full-size item icons?
Thanks so much for this great mod! EQ2's default UI is horrible, and there seem to be precious few active UI projects. Keep it up

To reset your UI for a character, you can go to your EQ2 folder and delete or rename servername_charname_eq2_uisettings.ini. This will allow you to pick your settings again which will reset everything to the proper place.
For you bags, you can go to the ProfitUI folder and delete or rename the file eq2ui_inventory_bag.xml. This should set your bags back to the default UI, which I believe is larger.
To change your inventory window back to the default UI, you would delete or rename the file eq2ui_inventory_inventory.xml.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I hadn't thought of removing the customized files for those windows. I could also just go in there and fiddle with them. I'll see what I can come up with

Okay, I admit I'm a noob as far as this interface topic...
I have ProfitUI, and I love it - EXCEPT: for some reason in the group window, where it shows status ailments for the party (out to the side of the health bar), the only ones I ever show are trauma and arcane.
I'm a templar, so my job is to keep everyone healthy - which includes getting rid of all four of the debuffs, but I only can tell if people have trauma or arcane - noxious and elemental do not show at all (well, they show on ME, but not on my group).
Any suggestions?

Hello, I just downloaded this UI a couple days ago, and i must say I LOVE it ! I had no troubles installing it whatsoever and it merged right in with EQ2map which is great. I love all the features of this UI, first and foremost the broker window ! and the quest journal ! Love it all though keep up the great work !
I only have 1 question and I don't know if its a bug or just a cosmetic issue or what. I have a 70 bruiser who's one AA path is the Wisdom line which leads to the skill that gives a chance at a Crushing AoE attack on a successful melee attack. When i turn on this buff though it does not show up in the personae window? (see screenshot) I relogged a few times.. i made double sure it was on but nothing i do makes it show up in the my stats window. Just curious more than anything and if it is a bug just posting some feedback  Other than that this UI is flawless for me !

Thats a skill that has a chance to poc an aoe, its not the same as an AOE attack. Thats just my thought, The information that he has in the window is being pulled from SoE its nothing that he is doing wrong, nor nothing he can fix.
I think swash have a ability that allowed them to auto attack AoE, which is diffrent than yours, which is an aoe proc.
