So, I hope you understand my English.

I have a Prob with my EQ2Map, i cant set Locs. The Line were I can put the Loc is black! How can i write the Loc in the Map!?

darcyle2, you did probably change something in the windowsettings and made the window or it's titlebar only visible on mouseover. Change it back there, no XML editing necessary.

aigor, so I guess you checked that your XML has entries and is correctly formatted (or you tried with the XML provided by me)? I'll have a look at the window again, but I currently don't see why the list could be invisble...

silent1, hmm, the [x] is supposed to be there. Maybe it ran away when I wasn't looking, I'll have a look and will try to hunt it down.

Limp, I'm sorry, but I do not support EQ2Map, this is the thread for ProfitUI here.

And I am also not sure whether I understand your problem, but you can set waypoints by typing /way <loc>. Best ask the EQ2Map guys though if it's something else you are wondering about.

just switched over from ThorUI and now everytime i relog and begain to type it opens up a whole new blank chat window forcing me to click "always chat here" in my main chat window everytime. Also the length of my cast bar keeps resetting as well.

Darcyle likes PIE...Sturmammer is the best.

As always, appreciate the attention you are giving to this UI and also the amazing dedication to replying to all that post here. I know you are supporting this UI on your free time and have a real job but you still find the time to support this awesome UI.

To me the key for a products success is 1) the product itself kicks ass and 2) the developer(s) actively support it and are actively involved with the user base answering any concerns they have. If they take the time to post then they deserve a response.

Also, I read the SoE boards alot and it never fails, when someone posts a Pic of their problem and they are using this UI, someone always replies to it saying how cool it looks and where can they get it..

I am truely amazed with every aspect of this UI and it should be the default for EQ2 IMO..

For some reason after going to 2.7.1 the 0 is not being displayed on the EXP window. I usually blow my UI directory away when I install a new version.

This is causing me to crash repeatedly since installing your ui, even after deleting it from my computer, and even deleting the entire ui folder. This after exceptional performance since launch.

OK... Here is the short list of issues. I honestly don't understand much about coding and such, but I feel that I may be closer to making work, than just tossing it all and putting everything back to the original set.

1. I have no maps!
2. Bottom bar is gone. I have r-clicked all over the bottom black bar and I have found nothing. It poofed while I was experimenting with the resize arrows.
3.The placement of my windows and number of windows resets everythime I log out. If I have two chat boxes and four spell bars when I log out, I'll have 1 chat box and 1 spell bar when I return.
4. Quest journal show NO QUESTS and has the text "YOUR JOURNAL IS OVERFLOWING! TOO MANY QUESTS!". IT also states that I have completed 100 collections and discovered 100 collections.
5. It shows my pet to be named Ambassador Rotgaf of Freeport... I promise that I didn't name him this =p
6. I cannot camp to another character.
I'm a bit confused and after trying to red through page after page of posts, I'm a bit discouraged. Can someone help?

Outside the SOE screwup of XP percentages I am quite happy. LOVE the new market window and LOVE the new quick login/out. I am sorry about those with issues and wish I could help you, however, I am confident gm9 will do everything in his power to make everything work right.

This is the most functional mod made yet.

Danjak, sounds like you have a corrupt uisettings file. The easy way is to delete it and select the default settings once you logged in (must delete it first though). If you have a custom setup that you want to keep you can edit your uisettings.ini by opening it in Notepad, searching for "BottomBar" and by replacing one character in there (not adding or deleting, you must be replacing it), e.g. "BottomCar".

Everyone with XP window issues: I accidentally made XP window variant 2 the default in 2.7.1 (will switch it around again for 2.7.2). If you go into your ProfitUI directory you can extract variant 1 (custom inventory colors might stop working, I think I forgot to put it in for that variant).

musikman29, those errors are not crash related. Delete your eq2.ini in your \Everquest II directory to completely get rid of ProfitUI. Did you enable "r_aa_blit 1" in this file? It's the only thing that I can think of that might be crash related.

DamianCross, are you trying to load the UI via /loadui? No idea what else could be causing this otherwise.

cumbom, yes, it's explained in the changelog for 2.7 and there's even a readme in the ProfitUI directory.

just downloaded the ui yesterday and I like it alot.
However, today I tried to go to a broker and it told me the ui was outdated!
I've tried searching the forums but I haven't seen anything related to this.

help!

"the inventory market window is not compatible withthe current client. Please upgrade your ui...."

is the message I get.

You probably downloaded an old version. Unfortunately, Profit's original (outdated) download location is still listed on the front page (and people are still adding it to their favorites), and there are two "Reborn" locations. My version, which is the current one, is available here and should not have that error:

This is my first Custom UI and it is infinitely better than the standard one. I never thought much about custom skins and such... thought it was just eye candy before... but this looks and works so much better than the Sony one!

I really like the way there is so much info displayed without taking up too much space, once I get used to where to look it will be even better. Thanks so much for putting this together... it is a very clean and efficient interface.

Only one small complaint: the button on the far left of each hot bar is really only half the size of all the others. The left side becomes the scroll arrows for moving between hot bars. I am using the lowest resolution (1024 x 768), so I'm not sure if it is a problem on the higher resolutions. I find it really easy (especially in combat) to change to another hot bar instead of pressing the button.

So I just moved emotes into those spaces instead of combat arts, no big deal.

Thanks again for designing and publishing this interface, gm9, and I am really looking forward to seeing if you can figure out how to export guild events.

Thanks attesa, glad you like it. The scroll arrows on a hotbar are only enabled if you select "frame and titlebar" mode in windowsettings. The other modes disable the arrows. Will that help?

No [x] here either on latest version

Have to hit I or right-click and choose close.

As far as adding a button for opening all bags, that would be useful. Using 'B' is fine, except when you are typing mail, on broker, or crafting and 'B' just gets entered into the box. It would help in those situations (and when I am too lazy to lift my hand off the mouse).

Yes, I'm having to enter /loadui each time I start. It doesn't load on it's own and when I change the name of the file to default, EQ2 downloads the original UI over it. I've got a distinct feeling that it's something simple that I'm missing.

Just downloaded teh newest vesrion .

Only problem I have is, the status window that used to be at the bottom now does not show up until you put your mouse over it. THis is despite the fact that the windows setting is set correclty so that it shows at all times.
