I'm sure that it's not actually "Smooth Fonts", but rather "Small Fonts" that does it. If you deactivate Smooth Fonts the game automatically deactivates Small Fonts, that's why it worked. Deactivate Small Fonts and it should work with the Smooth Fonts setting as well.

Once again, thanks for the help gm9!

Crushing, slashing, ect
Hello, I love your UI. The only thing it is lacking that I really would like is:
In the blue bar & persona window the resists area doesnt have numbers for:
Crushing, Slashing, Piercing resists.
I know this is possible because i used to have a modded Persona window before I switched to your UI that listed these resists numbers.
Just wondering if there is something you can do to add these numbers thank you!

Hmm, I'm gonna check that out now when I get home. I didn't notice that option (Smooth Fonts check box is almost the first option in that area, so I didn't scroll down). Thanks...I would've never looked further into it if you hadn't said anything!

Tried it with it being case sensitive and still just brings me to the character select screen.

Prodigus, so you must have put in some incorrect information. E.g. your servername, you listed "veeshan" but afaik there is no such eq2 server. If that wasn't just an example then that's your problem. And you can't camp to a character in a different launchpad zone, e.g. from US to a localized server.
saltgurl, your wish is my command. You'll get all stats that are in game and I threw in some funky vertical XP bars:
Also, I'll be fixing the video settings window and the bank window, both files had been corrupted by the editor without me noticing...
I'll release it tomorrow, I think, to catch Dolby online for quick validation.

I am actually on Mistmoore and that is what I have in the xml file. Not sure what you mean by localized server? All my characters are on Mistmoore, just between 2 accounts.

gm9, you are truly amazing and I can't thank you enough for keeping this UI going. I only wish I could contribute more than my 1600x1200 UIsettings file but alas, I have no programming skills to speak of Maybe someday I'll tackle this thing and see what I can figure out!
Thanks again for such a great UI and for always responding quickly to any issues.

Does anyone have a camp window that actually works to fire up a character on a different account? I have no problem with toons on the same account but when I switch account I just end up on character select on whatever account I'm currently logged in to. If anyone has this working please post specifics on how you capitalized in the XML file etc.

Pixi, I think we can rule out capitalization after Prodigus already tried this and failed. Also, I have tried with a clean installation of ProfitUI yesterday and could switch to different accounts without problems. Hmm.
I enclose a slightly changed shutdown window that should always camp to the login screen. If this works for you, then I know where the problem lies.

Hm, same problem still. I'll try a completely fresh install and see how that goes. It might be some old file lying around screwing things up.
Edit:
Test 1 - Fresh install with original shutdown window. No go.
Test 2 - Fresh install with new shutdown window. No go.
For my third test I'm gonna edit the LoginData file. I noticed when was editing it in Notepad that there was a small box between these tags:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>□<DataSource Name="CharacterData">
Gonna remove it and re-save in UTF-8 and see if that does anything.
And it didn't. No go on either of these tries.

Do that, you never know.
Did you ever successfully use another Login/Shutdown mod with different accounts, btw? If yes, which one?
Oh, and do you get the login screen at all if you run everquest2.exe ?

No, I've never used anything like this before so I can't really point you to something that has worked either.
And yes, if I run EverQuest2.exe I get the login window and it works a treat. I can select a toon and it autofills all the fields with the necessary info.
Edit: Hmm, when I started the game with EverQuest2.exe it works from in-game as well. I get the login window when I double click a character on another account in the shutdown window. It went straight to character select if I go via the patcher. I'll let you chew on that one hehe.

Thanks Pixi for cracking that nut!
I admit that I almost never start the game via the patcher as that takes entirely too much time, so it never occured to me to check whether there might be a problem. Not sure if I can work around this, but I'll have a look.
Otherwise, just having to start the game via the everquest2.exe should be a viable option as well.

Left, Right, Back and forward arrrow keys don't always work
Hi,
I just installed v2.7 and I can't thank you enough for this awesome UI. I think there may be a bug though.
After clicking the sound button on the EQ2 window and closing it, my arrow keys don't work. Once in a while one will work but the others don't. Then another one may work but the others don't.
So I use my mouse for a bit (Like 3-5 minutes) then they start working again reliably. This happens every time I click that sound button.
Can you maybe take a look at it please..
Thanks a bunch ..

Yeah, with the login thingy it'll be a lot quicker so I'll probably use it from now on and only patch after downtimes.

Not 100% sure what you are referring to but I think you are wantingan option to camp to another character. You can still just type
/Camp <Character Name> (Without the brackets). That will allow you to camp to a different character from the same account..

It seems like SOE disabled data entry via the numerical keypad in LU25. Using the number keys on the left part of the keyboard still works. Maybe you can change the keybinding to revert back to the old behaviour, haven't tried this yet.
Drunder40, strange, I'll have a look.
aigor, you probably made a mistake when editing the xml. Do it like I explained in this post. Just typing the command like Drunder40 suggested works as well, of course.

Having the same problem....whenever I use some of the buttons on the little control panel, I lose control of my arrow keys (and the gamepad I use) for a few minutes.

I get this from time to time. I press ENTER twice, and then they work fine. Give that a shot.

How evil, guess that leaves no easy way out for me then.
Btw, did it happen with the old startbutton as well?

GM, the problem with me not being able to switch account WAS because I was loading from the patcher. Now that I use everquest2.exe it works like a charm. Thank you for all your help!
