I'm doing a complete new install of my ui and so far so good. right now Im getting ready to add quicklog add_on back to it and noticed that there is no longer a custom windows\buttonpage directory for the eq2ui_buttonpage.xml file.

I also noticed that there is not a eq2ui_mainhud.xml file anylonger, is this now the eq2.xml file. So I think I just do the "include quicklog.xml.

Will the mainhud_experince.xml file still work with the current version 2.17.2 or will some mods need to happen to it?

2.17.2 restrucherd(sp) the directory tree and window\buggonpage is no longer. eq2ui_buttonpage.xml is gone also.

the qucklog add_on isn't my creation so I can't help you with that. the quicklong that comes with 2.17.2 I can help you with.

If there was an eq2ui_mainhud.xml included in one of my installs it shouldn't of been. As the only SOE core file I include is the eq2ui.xml. If I have to include any file I'll do it through a modual not one of SOE core files.

2.17.2 all addons should work. It's the next major update ( i.e. 2.18.x ) that they will stop working if the auther hasn't made the needed changes.
