ADD-ON: Killarny's Maintained Spells w/ Duration text + double-click cancel

well hello again... here to make my 2nd request, hopefully this 1 is possible.


REQUEST: simple concept, although i have no idea if it is possible... i want to have a double-click (on spell icon) cancel option for this mod:

some might ask, what is this good for? well for starters, if u have ever wanted to cancel a maintained/effects spell its a lil' time consuming (yes, i need every second lol). secondly, there are times when i root multiple mobs and i want to cancel 1 root, i right-click, lag and cancel the wrong 1.

if the request is possible, it would be cool to have a matching set of maintained/effects mods, but i'll be fine w/ just the maintained.

ok 2 days have gone by and plenty of views but no replies... is this not possible?

yeah when i mezz 4 mobs and want to stop mezzing 1 2nd button click (LAG for 5 seconds)....cancel, same for the mount >.< ....hmmm double click would be nice ^^

I'm playing with it, but I've hit a wall. There is a / command to cancel a maintained spell (conveniently it's /cancel_maintained #).

Unfortunately # is not easy to get. Maintained spells seem to be ordered sequentially by the order they were cast in since zoning, with spells that persisted from the previous zone starting at 0.

I can add a button to each maintained icon that uses OnPress="cancel_maintained=# cancel_maintained=#" however, I have no way of tracking which spell is assigned what #. I did up a sample, and after casting and canceling half a dozen times, I end up canceling the wrong spells.

If anyone has a way to track this # properly, I'd love to hear it.

first off... thx pooka for even looking into it, i appreciate it very much. secondly, i'm pleased to see that you have made some progress w/ this!

i've gone around a year now thinking about this w/o having it, so there's no rush. and i didn't look till now but you have some very nice mods... fastswitch and set prices being my favorites. anyone reading this, they are worth checking out!

i remember someone else was working on something similar to this but ended up giving up for the same exact problem
