I keep gettin an error when it tries to update

It says i need to have STA set but i don't see the option? it won't let me update unless i have this set..somethin about the OLE..any suggestions?

When I try to load the program this error message pops up ..

I get the same message

gonna try insall .NET framework BETA 2 ... might be because im running and AMD 64 ... wortha a shot - only 32bit os tho
