Login rejected: The client's version did not match the server's.

Just installed ThorUI and EQ2Maps yesterday with their install programs, and everything ran fine. Now, I can't login and get this message.

I've read the "How to install" thread and the auto-installer for the UI put in those lines already. I've done a full file scan on EQ2 and autoupdates for the mods and all check out ok.

Any ideas?

yes if ya were in the chat room on the updater you would see that all servers are currently locked and once unloced you need to go into prefrences and click on full file scan.

Or if you took the time to look in the official EQ2 forums before assuming the issue is here.

Sorry if this sounds a bit testy, but it seems the designers, who work freely for the community, are often the immediate targets for issues out of their control.

I just hope nothing breaks due to the update as it is quite the big list of files being updated.

Menders are broken too. i hate that every time theres a ui change with soe we have to go through this. i curse soe! may all their toenails get a nasty fungus!

also any thing that requires or you can type text into is now a grey field...but atleast we can still type in them

That happened to me and i didn't even change anything. So I went to prefferences and did full scan. It updated and everything ran fine after.

Though i cant sell to merchants because all merchants bring up a mendor window with all tabs the same buy list. Sell tab is buy tab, Repair tab is buy tab.
