In game POI Search function not working

I am having this issue too. I did a fresh install of EQ2 on a computer running Windows 10 that had never had the game or the maps installed before. Played for a bit before logging out and installing EQ2Maps. Computer runs Windows 10. Using auto-update as well.

The PoIs show up just fine and I can click on them to get a waypoint. I simply cannot use the search bar. No matter what I try, I get no search results. Makes looking for a NPC in a large zone very hard to do. No anti-virus is installed yet.

Tried clearing the cache and re-downloading all the files to no avail.
