Problem with auto updater?

In the windows Control Panel open Java. Make sure keep temp files is checked under settings. Now choose view temp files.

You said the status light was green so you can right click the app and choose install shortcuts. Also you can try right clicking and choose run online and see if that works.

When I install the updater I don't download and extract anything. I goto http://updater.pala.de/ and click the orange launch button.
