i am STUCK in south qeynos right now (every zone out is broken) so i figured i'd show you guys some cool screenshots. All shots are on graphics settings that run smoothly on a 3.2ghz P4, 1 gig of ram, and a Geforce 3 ti 500 (saving up for a 6800).

even tho its on the highest setting, EQ2's jpg pics look washed out compaired to the actual game. there's a setting for .tga files (which look great) but those are like 2 megs and i think dolby would get mad at me

Pic3: FLYING CARPET MOUNT /drooooooool . All prices are for beta testing, attainable, but still a lot of cash. the economy deals in silver right now. and no, i havent seen anyone riding a mount yet.

Pic4: Babbleshire(sp?) even tho i had already walked through the zone. at one point i stepped out of the bar and saw this. my jaw dropped. again *not* max settings, this is like "high performance".

Pic5: (edited for readablility) Scott "Gallenite" Hartsman (Technical Director, EQ2) my run-in with a celebrity. Scott is the man. that test version on antonica BTW, kicked ass, i don't know where it went after the test.

Pics7&8: the awe-inspiring mage tower. i had to shrink the pics to upload them, but i hope it gives you an idea of how freakin big this thing is. It's a skyscraper.

k i'll stop now. i gotta get past lvl 11 =P
