Tooltips & Desert of Flames

After installing the expansion DoF and logging into game, I recevied an error stating my UI was not compatible with Tooltips. After some troubleshooting, I discovered that my Tooltips only work if I uninstall the EQ2map I am used to the map and hate to give it up, but I also REALLY need the tooltips (mouseover identifies details of item/spells without having to "examine" the item or spell).

Is anyone else having this problem? Is there anyway to have the EQ2map and the Tooltips?
