We may need 2 sets of windows though, since soe's sorting is based on 4x4 grid a 8x2 will never sort properly using their default settings...

we either need one where the boxes are

1 9
2 10
3 11
4 12
5 13
6 14
7 15
8 16 so we can sort across to sort down... .... and then a second format so that sorting across would actually do

1 2
3 4
.. etc
