Death to deadspace?

with my custom UIs they get rid of all deadspace, but when i change settings to get rid of the title bar it creates deadspace where the titlebar once was.

ive tried having it move everything up to cover the space, but then it creates deadspace below the window, also im working with the mainchat window so i dont want to just change the size of the window itself (unless there is a way to do some math like size=x,y-19)

My preferred method was to simply oust the titlebar altogether. I take it Mook Chat is no longer compatible...

What I did on Mook Chat to hide the input bar, was set up placeholder pages that would be the appropriate size, then set the main window size to the size of the placeholder when hiding the "titlebar". You can also move pages, so I believe you could get what you're looking for with enough setup.

thanks for the info, ill have to check it out soon and see if i can get something to work

update:
ive looked at your code and it works alright, but only for things at the bottom. when trying to take stuff off the top it messes up the chat area (as im modding the chat window). also the way i have the window setup with pages and backgrounds make the buttons (settings, help, close) inoperable.

kinda wish that SOE had it setup that if there isnt anything there... that it just doesnt do anything?

Oh, right. If you tried to do what I did in reverse, then the bottom line of the chat window would be hidden when the titlebar is up. *forehead slap*
