Test Server Updates

The test server has been active with updates to the LU24. This live update will bring some changes to the default interface with the introduction of a new selling system. Keep in mind that the new selling system is not fully implemented but what’s in place on the test server can give you a taste of what is to come. You view a full compare of the interface here.

The added selling tab to the broker window will allow people to sell items if you do not own a house, stack items for sale that don’t normally stack, allow for expanded selling space in the future.

What is not implemented on test yet and was discussed at the EQ2 Summit in Atlanta is the addition of selling containers for your house for those that still wish to sell from your home. These containers will either be crafted by players or sold by vendors and will allow you to sell a lot more from your home while you are away. Some of the containers will allow you to stack items that are alike. Lets say you craft a bunch of weapons all the same, from what was talked about at the summit you should be able to get a container for your house that looks like a weapon rack and you should be able to stack all the same type of weapons together.

Keep in mind things could have changed since the Atlanta EQ2 Summit. So you’ll want to keep an eye on test to see what is further implemented for the new Consignment System. So far everything is looking good and I cant wait to see the rest.

so with this container you will be able to put them into a box? or need to put them direct into your house vault?

how much slots the container will have and how much will be the stackable amount of the same weapon type, master, adept ...

Yesterday's update to test once again changed the market UI and mechanics significantly. You can now use standard containers (boxes/bags) and the number you can use it defined by the number of vault slots you have. Thus its basically the old system without the need to go into your house or pay the rent.
