URL Helper

Hello there, I have a silver level account and I'm having problems with the URL Helper. When I click on any of the links DarkUI Unified Notifications picks up that I'm doing something but no page is launched. Also what is the chat channel that the links get posted to? Thanks.

So I found the XML with the Browser commands and set the visibility to true. This is what I get when I push a link button
Unable to message 'DARQUI_URL|https://eq2.fandom.com/wiki/Harbingers': You are not in the channel.

It seems the channel is 'tellchannel ' which I'm obviously in. What am I missing?

If you use the Darq Notify App that came in the Download along with your Darq Unified Utility App, it will do everything for you

You can use the in-game browser or the Windows browser. The Devs did an update and fixed the ingame one. so it works now..

Remember when you turn it on/off just restart the game when you do a change.

I'm using the app as I already said. I found the problem though, my DarqUI folder was set to the folder with the app, not the actual UI folder. Thanks for you help though.

I ran it again as Administrator and that fixed it. I thought I had set it to automatically do so. Thanks again

It's now sending properly, but I still can't get a web page to launch. Would Windows block it for any reason?

Wasn't running as administrator this time. Just tiny mistakes....

logs on, all things are running in admin mode, relogged chars multiple times, still getting:

game is running, could not create private channel
Restart the game to use the new setting

If it helps, i'm also using isboxxer thru innerspace

anyway to do things manually in game?

Seems the utility is not trying to create the channel or join the previous one it created, cause i have one that the utility created.

the URL Helper only works with 1 client. so if you are using multiple clients, then it will only create the channel in that main client. also when you turn it off and back on, you have to be out of the game complete. for it to reset.

I am using innerspace and isboxxer since I have two monitors and my 2nd char auto following me and i want full screen emulated with the ability to simply slide my mouse over to monitor 2, eq2 has the feature for emulating full screen, but does not permit moving the mouse outside of game window without a work around like tapping the windows key. Isboxer fixes this for me. But makes it so that DarqUI_Notify's detection phase gets messed up. So, I am seeking more of a personal fix. Like hard coding the feature to force always use default web browser.Personally, I'd love to never see the in-game browser. loads slow and has more ads than one could imagine. I am a perfectionist and never experience any ads with my browser

DarqUI also has a fullscreen windowed mode that allows you to mouse over to the other monitor. Look on the Settings page of the utility. If you use it, remember to go back into the in-game Options window and uncheck the built-in borderless fullscreen setting (and disable the setting in any other software).

You can add the private channel manually in the Window Manager. Open the browser with /browser and then click the blue gem button on the titlebar. Add the channel name in the slot, and check the box. Restart the game. You can also do this from the utility.
